Mama Sa Hotel and Rooftop Restaurant is a relaxed Western-run hideaway with a real Cambodian atmosphere, located on the peaceful Fish Island in Kampot. This boutique hotel has 10 bright and clean rooms with all the modern essentials, such as air conditioning and hot water (TVs and fridges are intentionally omitted to keep the atmosphere peaceful), at affordable rates between $15 and $25 per nite. The property’s clear highlight is its open-air sky bar and rooftop restaurant. From here you can enjoy an unbroken 360 degree panoramic view over the Elephant Mountain (Bokor), Coconut Mountain and even the far coast of Phu Quoc Island. The food is a good mix of Western dishes and traditional Khmer fare (including their much-lauded Fish Amok). It’s the ideal laid-back spot in Kampot to relax with a cocktail or some local food and watch a fabulous tropical sunset.

ExcellentAmazing vibes and incredible food!
It's a family-owned place, and you can instantly feel the warmth the moment you walk in. The family running it is incredibly friendly, social, and just genuinely happy to have you there. The overall vibe is just great. And oh man, the food is incredible. The woman running the kitchen is an absolute genius. She seriously knows what good food is and cooks with so much love. I can't recommend this place enough if you're looking for amazing food and even better people!
