Phnom Chhnork (also written Phnom Chhngok) is the cave temple east of town: a short walk through paddies to a limestone cave with a Funan-era brick shrine inside. BootsnAll’s 4 October 2026 Kampot guide still sends people there, about 8 kilometres east on Highway 33, for about US$1. OpenStreetMap pins Phnom Chhngok Cave Temple on the track off that road. Go in daylight. It is not a restaurant and there is little shade at midday.
